Sanaz Mousavi


Sanaz Mousavi, a native of Iran, graduated with a BA in English Literature from the Islamic Azad University in Tehran. Her main interests are Sufi poetry and American poetry/literature. Sanaz chose the MA Program in American Studies because of its interdisciplinary nature and because she wishes to focus on the work of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Emily Dickinson. Upon completion of the program, Sanaz intends to pursue a PhD in Comparative Literature. Outside of her studies, she is an artist and poet and enjoys spending time with her fourteen-year-old son.
