Kennesaw State offers a fifteen-hour minor in American Studies that complements most majors and provides a way for students to bridge their own studies with those from other disciplines and fields. Students pursuing majors in English, History, Communication, Education, Geography, Anthropology, Sociology, Economics, Art, Theatre and Performance Studies, and Business most often minor in American Studies.

Students interested in the minor in American Studies are encouraged to consult with the Program Coordinator as early as possible. At this meeting, the Program Coordinator will acquaint prospective minors with the program and begin charting progress in the program.
